Based in Zurich, Switzerland, Srikanth is part of Microsoft’s worldwide financial services group, with a remit to ensure that client engagements keep the customer and industry in mind, in line with the CEO’s vision to move from a product to a customer centric organization. He is especially excited about his role given the immense change the insurance industry is going through.
With an MBA from the University of St Gallen and a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune, Srikanth is comfortable on both business and technology, having almost two decades of professional experience in insurance, consulting, and telecommunications, in Switzerland, Germany, the UK, and Cyprus.
Prior to Microsoft, Srikanth worked as the global Head of Strategy for the multi-billion-dollar Property & Casualty division of one of Europe’s largest insurers, focusing on strategy creation, investor narratives, performance management, and strategic projects like market entry, asset disposal, and organizational restructuring. His most recent executive education centred on Disruptive Innovation from IMD, Lausanne and on Design Thinking and Managing Digital Product Creation at the University of St Gallen.

He is a design thinker and a holistic, interdisciplinary, and implementation-oriented strategist and doer. Thus, among other tasks he liaises strongly with academia, insurtech, and start-up ecosystem. His main focus covers forward looking market developments, digital ecosystems, omni channel management, and business model innovation.
