LAW and AI workshop

AI holds very promising perspectives for transforming the practice of law, making it more consistent and more just.

However, to achieve so, we need to better understand the nature of concept of the law and to take into account the standards of legal reasoning.

March 26 and 27, 2019

Digitizing Justice, now in its third year, is an annual multi-disciplinary forum which enables prosecutors/public attorneys, the judiciary and the justice IT community to share knowledge, witness innovation and debate the roadmap for the justice system – all aimed at transforming justice delivery.

The aim of this year’s workshop is to bring together an eco-system of stakeholders within the justice community who are challenged by the growth in size and complexity of workload, the huge pressure to accommodate digital evidence in court and its impact on both the public prosecutor and the defence. Participants and speakers will ask: How will Artificial Intelligence support modernization; how will new regulation and law develop and what are the legal imperatives? How will business and operating models in Justice change and in which way can they define new approaches to a learning organization?

We invite attendees to share their transformation goals and concerns, to jointly challenge the justice assumptions of current operating models and have a dialogue on future design.
